Flow of energy
What are humans?
Humans are energy.Energy just wanted to experience itself in human form. It was curious. It wanted to find out what it’s like knowing and not knowing itself — to experience both darkness and light.
But even in this human form, thought can become a trap. Some interpret thought as the devil, enticing you into thinking instead of doing. And in experiencing that “devil,” we learn that it is a low vibration — something we should not be enticed by. Yet, even that low vibration is part of the journey of energy discovering itself.
As someone who overthinks or dwells in deep reflection, I’ve wondered: where does my energy hide? It retreats into the mind, into thought, into analysis. And yet, there is a way to let it flow again. To allow tears to run down my face without naming them — without trying to understand or explain — so that blockages can unclog and the brain can rest, allowing energy to circulate freely.
I recognize that this is not easy for someone like me, who has always named the tears, labeling and making sense of every emotion. Trying not to analyze on the first try is challenging because the brain will always have something to say. But the key is not to fight it. The mind can be acknowledged and reassured, while attention shifts to the body and to sensation — allowing the energy to move, even in small waves.
It’s intense — this process of surrender. We preach constantly that we should “go with the flow,” myself included, yet I never truly understood what that meant beyond doing what I want or following immediate impulses. Letting emotions simply be is another form of flow — one we rarely tap into because the world, and even well-meaning voices, constantly tell us what flow should look like. But the real flow comes from listening to yourself, to your own energy, your own body, and your own feelings, without outsourcing meaning.
True flow, I am learning, is not about action alone. It is about allowing, receiving, and letting the current of energy move through you — even when it is uncomfortable, messy, or unknown.
